THE AIM OF THE WISE IS NOT TO SECURE PLEASURE BUT TO AVOID PAIN

‘It is not doing what we like but liking to do what we ought to for the desired change in life’. Life has it’s way of springing up challenges at us, variably in our individual pursuit, of course we all want happiness; this quest of happiness has been painted in different colours, some people derive their pleasure to the detriment of others, while some, genuinely for their inner source of being. Its’ quite unfortunate that a life without hitches, is worthless and purposeless, finding the true meaning of what life entail lies with having a purpose to life and why you live; for this will keep us on and going while hope remain steadfast.

However we want something that will make us happy or to be well pleased; committing to intellect, for this should be on long term gain not on short term to avoid pain and find the true joy; as the adage says pain is gain. It is a known fact that we are interested in something that will bring us instant gratification without considering the consciousness of the mind its implication; consequently we are pushed by our anxiety to doing this, well there is no blame it’s natural but not without self control. It is not wise to follow whatever thing of any sort to its action that comes to us. Some things are meant to be preserved for the later while some are meant to be exorcised and eradicated, and also some are meant to be committed to mind for action; from this point we evaluate ourselves to what we want out of life and then we invest in life, by planning and executing what’s planned and if it works, go ahead and achieve another don’t be carried away by success of the first strike, just keep moving for this is where the true joy comes in “Ecstasy of Life” like I would have it expressed in quote.

The immediate gains are nine days wonder they don’t last and yet we are pressed on to it instead of looking above board, we want it in no time; to justify the truth pleasure isn’t bad at all, but it is bad when it is taken for a full shot on target, where as what really matter is neglected and ignored; ignorance and neglect unbridle our due sense of homour from what’s essential; that is it! nobody wants to know where the oven is situated for baking cake and yet we want to eat cake already made, you know it’s not fair enough. Know this all great achievement requires time and tenacity. I will like to share an excerpt from the book of Ecclesiastes 11:1-5 in the book of life (Bible) I believe this will explain better.
Invest in Life
Send your bread on the surface of the waters
For after many days you may find it. Give a portion to seven or even eight; for you don’t know what disaster may happen on earth. If the clouds are full they will pour out rain on the earth;
Whether a tree falls to the south or the north, the place where the tree falls there it will lie.
One who watches the wind will not sow, and one who looks at the clouds will not reap.
Just as you don’t know the path of the wind, or how bones (develop) in the womb of a pregnant woman.
So you don’t know the work of God who makes everything.

Leaders at all works of life are meant to serve for the people they lead, not to exploit and take advantage of its followers, democracy simplifies the relationship between a leader and a follower, as an interdependence for quality administration and sustainable growth; by involving the citizens there is development to various sector where there could be inequality balance and unemployment.

Notwithstanding a good leader shows concern on major deficiencies that affects protection of life, properties and welfare of its citizens, knowing fully well of the fact that without mutual support existing in the domain and allocation of resources to its most valuable assets (the people), then it means the vision for a better future walks along the wrong lane of success, what is required amidst this conception is giving attention to the clamour of the people towards protecting their interest and making them useful to themselves also to the society.

Services are to be rendered to its full course. The mandate giving to the one in charge signifies that he/she stands as a representative for those who elected them in position, to serve and not to be served. Doing what they are ought to when giving the assets providing tangible development to most essential amenities such like fundamental needs as road, shelter, food, just to mention a couple.

Life is a one chance thing, what make it worth living is fighting a battle not only to the benefit of a singularity but for contributing to the benefit of our fellow men and others. A major key to success in this life; to attaining that which you deeply desire, is to be completely released and throw all there is of yourself into your job or any project in which you are engaged. In other words, whatever you are doing, give it all you’ve got. Give every bit of yourself. Hold nothing back. Life cannot deny itself to the person who gives life his all. But most people, unfortunately don’t do that. In fact, very few people do, and this is a tragic cause of failure, or if not failure, it is the reason we only half attain.

Don’t be a “Holdout”. Go all out. Do this and life will not hold out on you.

Heart is the symbol of creative activity. Fire the heart with where you want to go and what you want to be. Get it so deeply fixed in your unconscious that you will not take no for answer, then your entire personality will follow where your heart leads. “Throw your heart over the bar” means to throw your faith over your difficulty, throw your affirmation over every barrier, throw your visualization over your obstacles. In other words, throw the spiritual essence of you over the bar and your material self will follow in the victory groove thus pioneered by your faith-inspired mind. Expect the best, not the worst, and you will attain your heart’s desire. It is what is in the heart of you, either good or bad, strong or weak, that finally comes to you. Emerson said “Beware of what you want for you will get it”.

Naturally in this process of achieving the best it is important to know where you want to go in life. You can reach your goal, your best dreams can come true, you can get to where you want to go only if you know what your goal is. Your expectation must have a clear cut precisely defined purpose and objective.

Many a times we see people act in pretence shying off their intuitions and instinct to cover up to what they are not good at, struggling to be someone else rather than themselves; when trying to be like someone else the best you can be is number two, never can you attain it to its fullest no matter how you try. It is better we are hated for what we are than to be loved for what we are not, best it is if we follow our heart and letting it go by the head while nature suffice its understanding to us, reason is because you cannot cheat nature.

Fortunate enough to some people mentorship is the key to toe the path of success to one’s personal excellence yes it is true that people get inspired by people but then more importantly one to which your inspiration is gotten should share similar vision or dreams of the future, do not copy but play alike, dare to be really who you are. Our solemn desire to what we want to become should be put to check either to make use of or make over with not to be despised as to be common things of everyday life. Accepting and Appreciating what you are is one step towards becoming who you are don’t allow yourself to be mass motivated by the conformities around you, avoid the crowd and find your own unique twist; one of kind, different from others establish an intrinsic value and cultivate your own unique loving potential. Make your own choices or decisions in life, this is unflinching(strong and unhesitating) even when it involves uncertainties it is better and safer you are moving ahead in your direction than elsewhere, there is more to life than faking up reality. I urge you with sincere heartfelt motives that we all should face ourselves and also be what we are destined to in individuality. Let’s get to find out our strength to focus on and our weaknesses to suppress and dispel.

Every man must do two things alone; he must do his own believing and his own dying. I will leave you with these; never give up what u aspire to acquire what you admire but if it backfires refuse to let go and rekindle to enkindle your desire towards your aspiration to acquire what you admire.
